Asisat Oshoala has loads of happy moments to celebrate this month after her sister announced her engagement following her master's graduation.
Oshoala won her fourth title at the Women's Africa Cup of Nations after the Super Falcons beat hosts Morocco 3-2 in the final, extending their record to 10 titles.

She played a limited role at the tournament as she gradually nears the end of her international career, even though she debunked retirement rumours.
The former Barcelona Femeni striker has been in Nigeria after the tournament, enjoying her holiday and has been spotted having fun at different places.
As noted by CAF Online, despite her limited role, she opened the scoring for Nigeria during their 3-0 group stage opening match win over Tunisia.

Oshoala reacts to sister's graduation
The Super Falcons striker's sister, Sherifat Oshoala, recently graduated with a distinction in MSc Mass Communication from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Asisat commented on the Instagram post celebrating her sister's educational achievement. She wrote “Kinni mo wa fe fun e bayi, congratulations my love,” which translates to “what should I give you?”
Sherifa Oshoala announced her engagement to long-term partner Majeed Orolade, which she also announced on Instagram, bragging about her educational achievements alongside it, which inspired some of her followers.

Asisat Oshoala visits her academy
The Bay FC forward is still in Nigeria after the WAFCON victory. She shared images on her Instagram pages after visiting her academy in Surulere.
According to Premium Times, she launched the academy in Surulere, Lagos, intending to use football and education to cater for marginalised girls.
The academy is managed by the Asisat Oshoala Foundation, which she founded in 2015 during her time at Liverpool Women.
Oshoala celebrates after receiving cash gift from Tinubu
Legit.ng reported about Asisat Oshoala’s wild celebrations after receiving a national honour and $100,000 cash gift from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Oshoala, who was formerly MON, which she received after her performance at the 2014 U20 FIFA Women's World Cup, was upgraded to OON after winning WAFCON 2025.
