The Blues returned to the UEFA Champions League after finishing fourth in the Premier League table, won the UEFA Europa Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Tyrique George to leave Chelsea
Nigeria-eligible youngster Tyrique George is set to leave Chelsea this summer in search of regular first-team football, and the club is open to a permanent exit.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues understand the player's desire to move in search of regular first-team football and won't block his path.
German club RB Leipzig has asked the Blues for the condition of the transfer, with the Premier League side also in contact for the potential signing of Xavi Simons.
George was promoted to the first team this season under Enzo Maresca and played a crucial role in the success of the team despite having limited minutes.
As noted by Transfermarkt, he scored three goals for the first team, one each in the Premier League, Conference League, and Club World Cup.
He scored the equalising goal in the 2-1 win over Fulham, which sparked the team's positive form to the end of the season, helping them finish on a high note.
George scored during Chelsea's 3-0 win over Legia Warsaw in the Conference League quarter-final and also in the third group game against Esperance de Tunis in the Club World Cup.

George dropped departure hint
George is eligible to play for Nigeria and Ghana, alongside fellow academy star Josh Acheampong.
“I’d say long-term just to carry on playing as many games as possible, if that’s with Chelsea or somewhere else. I’m just really happy to keep playing games and getting experience as well," he said as quoted by Chelsea Chronicles.
The interview was in May, and it had alerted the fans to the possibility of the versatile attacker leaving at the end of the season.
A few fans hold nothing against him, particularly with the club's summer business; Christopher Nkunku, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Joao Pedro are already in his position.
The Blues are also linked to Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons, who also play in the same position.
