Victor Osimhen wrote a special message to Galatasaray fans, and it was delivered in a box with other merchandise available for purchase at the club's official store.

The striker completed the formalities of his transfer on Thursday morning after arriving to a record crowd of supporters at the Atatürk International Airport on Wednesday.

He had endeared himself to the fans during his season-long loan spell in the 2024/25 season, during which he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 games to help the club win the league and cup double.

As noted by TRT Spor, Galatasaray broke their club and Turkish football transfer record to sign the Super Eagles forward for €75 million after weeks of negotiations with Napoli.

The Lions also confirmed in an official statement that the striker will receive a net annual salary of €21 million (₦38.85 billion), including loyalty bonus and image rights.

The striker will cost Galatasaray €159 million over the length of his four-year contract, excluding taxes, making him the biggest deal in Turkish football.

Galatasaray launches special Osimhen merch

According to a statement from the Galatasaray store, the club have launched a range of special edition merchandise in a bid to recoup part of their investment in the striker.

The range branded “Solo il Gala” collection is a special box, which includes a black jersey with gold stripes with a unique serial number and exclusive design.

It also includes a replica of the striker’s trademark mask made from elastomer material with an adjustable strap and the 5-star, representing the club's 25 titles, printed on the front.

The pack also has a scarf with “Solo il Gala”, which means “Only Gala”, Osimhen's first words ahead of flying to Istanbul, printed on it, and it represents a statement and belonging in the Galatasaray family.

The striker spoke to the fans after arriving in Istanbul on Wednesday evening and will address the fans again in a live broadcast today.

He sent a special message to the fans, which is exclusive to those who would buy the "Solo il Gala" and is contained on a card in the pack.

The kits were locally produced by the club and not by their official kit sponsor, Puma. It reportedly costs €21.5 to produce and is on sale for €215. Galatasaray targets at least €20 million in revenue from the sale and even more.

Legit.ng reported that Osimhen sent a goodbye message to Napoli after ending his five-year association with the Italian Serie A champions.
