Galatasaray have officially unveiled Victor Osimhen as their new player after joining permanently on a four-year contract and an improved salary.

Osimhen spent last season on loan in Turkey and instantly became a fan favourite because of his performance and energy, prompting the club to pursue a permanent deal.

As noted by Transfermarkt, his 37 goals and eight assists won the team 14 points in the league and helped them win the Super Lig and cup double.

Galatasaray confirms Osimhen’s salary

Galatasaray and Napoli reached an agreement on the transfer of Osimhen last week, before the striker flew to Istanbul on Wednesday to finalise the transfer.

According to Galatasaray's official statement, the Turkish Super League champions confirmed the full details of the record transfer.

The club confirmed that the deal is worth €75 million with a 10% sell-on clause inserted. There were no details on the payment structure and the rumoured add-on.

Galatasaray announced that Osimhen will earn €21 million (₦38.85 billion) net salary per season, which is €15 million (₦27.75 billion) guaranteed, €5 million (₦9.25 billion) in image rights per season and €1mil (₦1.85 billion) in loyalty bonus.

The guaranteed salary per week is about €281,462 (₦520.7 million) and about 74 million per day in Nigerian currency.

Osimhen appreciate Galatasaray fans' love

Gala fans waited for hours at the Atatürk International Airport and tracked Osimhen’s flight from Germany until he arrived in Istanbul at around 7 pm local time.

There were thousands of them to receive their new player, and the Super Eagles forward is grateful for their love, which they have shown since he first joined the club in September 2024.
