The striker spent last season on loan at the club and helped them win the league and cup double, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists, as noted by Transfermarkt.
Galatasaray pushed to sign him permanently, breaking their transfer record of €18 million, and will eventually pay around €80 million for Osimhen.
They won the race ahead of Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal, which offered the striker an astonishing €45 million salary per season.
After getting the player's green light, they endured the tough negotiation skills of Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, but in the end, they got their player.
Osimhen makes bold promise to Galatasaray fans
Osimhen arrived at the Atatürk International Airport at past 9 pm local time and was welcomed by a crowd of Galatasaray fans who were waiting for him.
They tracked his flight from Germany to Istanbul as it was broadcast via YouTube by Galatasaray, and this delighted the player.
The Super Eagles star made a promise to the fans that he would repay their love on the pitch, and together with his teammates, he would bring success to the club.
“If you ask me, Galatasaray fans are the best in the world. I mean, just look at the crowd that came to see a single player. This shows me the greatness of their love for me,” he told GS TV.
“I am ready to give my all in this new season, together with my teammates, to achieve success.”

The Lions have won the last three Turkish Super League titles, and retaining Osimhen permanently could see them win a fourth consecutive title.
They have also recruited decently in other areas, with Leroy Sane joining as a free agent, while two more big signings are expected before the window closes.
Galatasaray will compete in the UEFA Champions League next season, which will give them financial leverage and was key to Osimhen deciding to stay.
Their toughest battle will be against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, who have also been active in the market and hope to end their 11-year league title drought.
