The Super Falcons are still in a jubilant mood after winning Nigeria’s tenth Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title following a comeback 3-2 victory against Morocco.
Members of the national team have been treated to a presidential reception as they were hosted by President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock following the remarkable win.

According to Vanguard, President Tinubu bestowed national honours of the Order of the Niger, OON, on each member and coaching crew of the victorious Super Falcons team.
Each player was also awarded a three-bedroom apartment and a mouth-watering $100,000 cash reward for winning the prestigious continental title for a record 10th time.
Music stars Flavour, Teni, and Timi Dakolo also entertained the victorious Super Falcons team during their dinner at the presidential villa.
Nnadozie steals the highlights with dance moves
Following the confirmation of the cash prizes for each member of the Super Falcons squad by President Tinubu, goalkeeper Nnadozie seemed more excited to hear the news than most of her teammates.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper, who was voted as the goalkeeper of the tournament, could not contain her joy as she was spotted dancing a popular traditional dance move.

During the performance of Flavour Nabania, the Imo State-born goalkeeper burst into ogene dance moves, captivating all in the hall, including the special guests and her teammates.
Nnadozie has been one of the lively players in the Super Falcons camp as seen on her social media posts, and it is no surprise that the newly signed Brighton goalkeeper stole the show during the team’s reception.

NFF pledge more money for players
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has pledged that a substantial portion of the prize money for winning the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations will be distributed to the players.
The prize money for the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations was $3,450,000, a 45% increase from the previous edition’s remuneration. Champions Nigeria received $1,000,000 (₦1,500,000,000), while runners-up Morocco received $500,000, and the least amount went to the teams that finished fourth in the group ($125,000).
