“That’s Massive”: President Tinubu Doles Out ₦152m to Each Super Falcons Player, Nigerians React

President Bola Tinubu has rewarded each player of the Super Falcons team with the sum of ₦152 million naira ($10,000) each on Monday, July 28.
He made the pronouncement when he received the victorious team at the State House after they won the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title.

The President also announced the ₦76 million to each of the technical crew/backroom staff of the national women's senior team.
He also conferred the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger to the players and coaches for earning Nigeria's 10th WAFCON title.

The former two-time Lagos State Governor rewarded each of the players a three-bedroom apartment in Abuja, Nigeria's capital.
He also announced the addition of ₦10 million naira to each of the players by the Nigeria Governors Forum, per The Nation.
Ajibade gives speech during Presidential award
Super Falcons capatin Rasheedat Ajibade has lauded President Bola Tinubu for recognising the Nigeria women's team.
In a post on X, the former FC Robob player urged Nigerians to unite to make Super Falcons a world standard team that can compete anywhere in the world. She said via Guardian:
"As we celebrate the 10th WAFCON title, let it be a spark that ignites a new era for Nigeria women's football. Let us unite as government, football federation, players, citizens and diaspora in a shared vision to make the Super Falcons world standard.
"Together, we can achieve greatness that echoes for generations. Thank you so much His Excellency for this honour, thank you to the ministers that have come to cheer us from the first day, your messages were seen and your support were instrumental to our victory at the tournament."

President Tinubu hails heroics during WAFCON final
