Jota's widow set to inherit huge fortune
According to Express UK, Rute Cardoso and her children are set to inherit a huge £35 million after the unfortunate passing of her husband in a car accident last week.
The couple married at a church in Portugal days before the player had an accident in Cernadilla, Zamora, Spain, alongside his brother André Silva.
According to Daily Mail, the inheritance will provide financial security for Cardoso and her three children after Jota's life and continued livelihood were cut short.
Jota earned £3.952 million during his time at Wolverhampton Wanderers and made a huge £8.632mil in his first two years at Liverpool before signing a bumper £140,000 per week deal in 2022.

That would take his Premier League earnings to £34.4mil, and this excludes his bonus, sponsorships and other incomes via social media endorsements.
He had endorsements with Nike and EA Sports, which reportedly paid him around £3.3 million per year. He also owned his eSports team called Luna Galaxy.
Jota and his wife owned a five-bedroom apartment in the north of Liverpool, which they bought for £2.152 million in May 2022 and another property in Portugal.
He owns an extensive range of luxury cars, including a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Ferrari 488, an Audi Q7 and a Mercedes-Benz G63AMG. He died in a Lamborghini Huracan.
It is unclear how much of his properties will go to his wife and family, as his father, Joaquim, managed his properties during his life, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
