He said:
“I saw APC fighting APC. The people who are supposed to fight for APC are the ones fighting APC. I begin to ask in the spirit, ‘what is happening?’ And I heard the voice of a youth saying ‘you think you can use and dump us the way you used us before?’ This thing I’m saying now is going to happen.
“I saw APC fighting APC; I saw APC destroying APC; I saw APC working against APC. And these are the youths.”
“Mr President, the youths you promised and you have not fulfilled the promise, please go back to them and fulfil the promise. I beg of you President Bola Tinubu, look into the APC, look into the youths, look into the promises you made to them.”

'APC testing ground for 2027'
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the APC of using the security agencies to clampdown on its members in different areas during the recent by-elections to fill 16 vacant state and national assembly seats in some states across the country.
PDP's national spokesperson, Debo Ologunagba, at an interactive session with journalists, on Tuesday, August 19, in Abuja, said what the APC did was to test the ground for the 2027 election.

He said the ruling party would be disappointed because Nigerians would step up to them in the next general elections.
He noted that the APC was always panicky whenever it perceives that PDP leaders were working together and would want to cause a disaffection so that the opposition party will not talk about the failures of the federal government.
The PDP spokesman, who said the opposition party was aware of the alleged arrogance of the APC over the recent by-elections, accused the ruling party of allegedly weaponising the poverty in the country.
Ologunagba said:
“We don’t call that an election. And we’ve heard about the arrogance of the APC. What they have done with those elections is to test the ground for 2007, but I have bad news for APC.
“What happened in those by-elections, will not happen in 2007. Why? Nigerian people are wiser. They are hurting. What will be on the ballot in 2007 will be the hunger, the uncertainty and the insecurity that no money can purchase."
APC chairman's mother's death
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that President Tinubu expressed his "heartfelt condolences" to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the national chairman of the APC.
Tinubu sent his sympathy to Prof. Yilwatda on the death of the APC leader's mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.
According to a statement by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Yilwatda's mother as a woman of virtue who lived a life dedicated to faith, service, and the uplifting of her community.
