Uzodinma further stated that now that Nigeria is out of the bush, it is time for the country to move forward, make progress, and prosper.

“In this country called Nigeria, we have come a long way. Leaders have come and gone. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is barely two years in office. All the cheats, all the rots, all the troubles—poverty, hardship, high cost of living, fuel scarcity—were heaped on his head, I can tell you, within two years in office, at least Nigeria, which was in the bush, has been brought out to the road. So, we can now move.”

The Imo state governor said Tinubu’s administration is charting a positive direction to move the country forward despite the current difficulties faced by Nigerians.

“I am not unaware that the process of healing came with some pain. I am not unaware that people at the grassroots are facing difficulties. I am not unaware that the economy, once in the bush, is now ready to grow. But I have come to tell you that history and this country have challenged us to repair all these wounds.”
