Has Jonathan endorsed Peter Obi for 2027 election?

Recall that Reno Omokri stated that no special meeting took place between Jonathan and Peter Obi.

Omokri, a former aide to Jonathan, said Obi, a presidential hopeful, only met at a programme in Abuja not too long ago.

While Omokri is a staunch critic of Obi, Jonathan is an elder statesman, having served Nigeria as its leader from 2010 to 2015.

Possibility of Jonathan vying for 2027 presidency

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Umar Sani, a PDP chieftain, opined that a Jonathan presidency offered a strategic middle ground for those in the North clamouring for the presidency in 2031.

Sani, who served as senior special assistant on media and publicity to former vice-president Namadi Sambo, alleged that some individuals in Jonathan's inner circle undermined the former president's campaign in 2015.
