APC Brags of Tinubu's Fate in 2027 Election Amid Opposition Plot

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has bragged that Nigerians will vote for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election, adding that his administration has made outstanding achievements.
According to the APC, the first term of President Tinubu was full of remarkable experiences in the history of the country. Felix Morka, the spokesperson of the APC, made the claim while defending the government over the recent criticism from Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State.

Nasir El-Rufai canvases support for ADC
Tribune reported that the former governor is a prominent member of the emerging alliance and was on a mission to gather support for the African Democratic Party (ADC). He described his action as a patriotic one to rescue Nigeria from the grip of 'nepotism' and 'incompetence'.
During his visit to Sokoto, the former governor attended two important events meant to sensitise the people and political stakeholders working to achieve the agenda of sacking President Tinubu and the APC in the next general election.
During his address at the event, the former governor lambasted the ruling party and called them 'a failed, clannish, and visionless administration that has plunged Nigeria into deeper socio-economic misery'.
El-Rufai asked Nigerians to vote against Tinubu
He declared that it was time for Nigerians to rise against the APC and accused the party of 'broken promises and elite conspiracy'. He warned that any move to vote for the APC beyond 2027 would be a greater doom for the country

The former governor argued that the coalition was full of technocrats, progressives, former governors, lawmakers, and civil society players who have resolved to rescue Nigeria from the APC and President Tinubu.
What APC said about El-Rufai
Speaking at the event, the APC dismissed the comment of the former governor, adding that El-Rufai and his allies in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) did not have credible alternatives to the economic reforms of President Tinubu.
The ruling APC highlighted the bold economic decision of President Tinubu, which included the removal of the fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange policies, stating that the decisions were part of the promises of the opposition parties in the 2023 election.

Saraki denies asking supporters to join coalition
Legit.ng earlier reported that former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had denied the reports that he asked his supporters to join the coalition bridge, ADC.
The chairman of the PDP reconciliation committee urged his supporters to remain in the party and expressed confidence that their efforts would be fruitful.
The former Kwara governor's denial of the claims came amid alignment and realignment between politicians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
