2027 Election: Primate Ayodele tells Gov Eno, 6 Others Their Election is Not Sure, Full List Emerges

Asaba, Delta state - Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, on Sunday, August 3, warned some governors about their purported second-term ambition.

In a statement signed by Osho Oluwatosin, his media aide, shared with Legit.ng, the cleric stated that return to office of the concerned governors is not certain.

Ayodele said some of the states include Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Enugu, Ondo, Zamfara, and Kaduna.

Legit.ng reports that bar Ondo, elections will be held in some of the other six states in 2027.

The cleric alleged that the governors of the seven states he noted will have issues actualising their second term ambition, adding that they must pray fervently "and do all that is needed".

His words:

“The governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara, and Ondo must work well to get a second term in office. It’s not certain for them except they work hard and pray. This is a hint of what they should be expecting.
“They need to work very well so that they won’t lose their second-term ambition.”

Ayodele sends message to Akpabio

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele warned the Senate President Godswill Akpabio to be careful and prayerful so that his second term as position as the No.3 citizen of Nigeria will not be traded.

“Senate President Godswill Akpabio must be very careful and prayerful to get a second term as senate president. I see his position being traded; he must work very hard to avoid it.”

Likewise, Primate Ayodele shared that prominent senators and members of the house of representatives will not return for a second term, while warning Senator Ned Nwoko of Delta state against his touted governorship ambition. According to Ayodele, "it is not yet his time".

  1. Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom
  2. Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River
  3. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta state
  4. Peter Mbah, governor of Enugu state
  5. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, governor of Ondo state
  6. Dauda Lawal of Zamfara
  7. Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna state

Ayodele predicts Peter Obi's fate

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Primate Elijah Ayodele claimed that Peter Obi cannot emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.

In a recent video posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, seen by Legit.ng, the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church founder predicted doom for Nigeria in the event that the former Anambra state governor becomes the country's leader.
