He accused those who said the ‘North’ is disfavoured against the ‘South’ in Tinubu’s government are deliberately distorting this reality.
The former federal lawmaker stated this via his X handle @ShehuSani on Friday, August 1, 2025.
“Under the immediate past and present administrations, the North West and the South West regions are the highest beneficiaries of political appointments and projects. Those who are saying the ‘North’ is disfavoured against the ‘South’ are deliberately distorting this reality. The match is not yet half time, wait for more goals or penalties!”
Reactions to top 2 regions in Tinubu's govt
@Pacer1980
No nation is built on patronage. Rather great nations were built on a well thought out developmental masterplan that priotizes merits and competitive advantages in the allocation and distribution of human and material resources.
@RolandNGabriel
Nigerian Politicians think only about themselves all the time. Nigerians are at the mercy of criminal politicians.
@OdogwuGNR
It's concerning to hear Governor Kwankwaso on the alleged distorted information about the PBAT project development, especially after his recent meeting with the President. It seems he's trying to gain attention with people he must not negotiate away when the trading starts.
@EnebeliK17973
Distinguished Senator, we shouldn't wait till the match is over because it will be too late by then o. Let's keep calling out the injustice in appointment, project allocation in the system now.
@AdioOlarewaju
OBJ stands out anyway, anywhere, anytime anyhow and somehow.
Jonathan remain second in my opinion
Others have no rating in my IMO. It was/is lopsidedness arrangement/appointment tends to.......other regions.
@MataRajis
In all of this, the South East is the consistent sufferer 😜
@shamsdeensaeed
TINUBU policy scream 'Lagos First', we here in the north waitin
@D_Ministar
Sounds like som1 is trying to justify regional favoritism by making it sound strategic. The match not yet half time analogy is exactly wat's wrong wit Nigerian politics, treating governance like a game where regions take turns instead of focusing on competence &national development
