2027 Election: Top Lagos-based Prophet Releases Prophecy on Peter Obi's Chances of Winning

Ajah, Lagos state - Prophet Elijah Bamidele of the Christ House of Prayer and Deliverance Ministry, Lagos, has claimed that Peter Obi cannot emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.
In a recent video posted on his official Facebook page, seen by Legit.ng, the Edo-born preacher asked Obi, the Labour Party (LP) candidate in the 2023 election, to wait till 2031.

2027 election: Bamidele plays down Obi's chances
Prophet Bamidele said:
“I do not hate Peter Obi. But Peter Obi cannot rule Nigeria now. 2027, write it down. I am a prophet, take it or you leave it. Bring out any prophecy that I have given that have not come to pass in Nigeria. I am a prophet. Peter Obi, 2027, no way for you. If he will rule Nigeria, it will be after 2027, no be now (sic).
“Remember I gave a prophecy that I saw Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi coming out of the different parties, not the All Progressives Congress (APC), not the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), not Labour Party, you called me a fake prophet. Three months after, didn’t ADC coalition emerge? Do you think I speak what my eyes did not see?
“2027, Peter Obi, no president for you. After 2027, he can come.”

Furthermore, Prophet Bamidele stated that President Tinubu will not be defeated in the 2027 election.
He said:
“Whether you like it or not, Bola Tinubu is the president of Nigeria. If it pleases God for him to do eight years, there is nothing you can do about it.”

'Obi needs alliance' - Expert
Meanwhile, a seasoned political analyst, Segun Akinleye, explained that Obi cannot risk being detached from the anti-Tinubu alliance.
According to Akinleye, "President Bola Tinubu will emerge the winner in a three-horse race."
He told Legit.ng:
"You don’t need to be a soothsayer to know that it would be tough for Obi in the 2027 presidential election. How can he emerge victorious based on the result of the last presidential election? If the 2027 presidential election is a three-way race like that of the 2023 elections, then we will have the same result again - Peter Obi losing out.
"Any political analyst not swayed by emotions will know that President Tinubu will emerge the winner in a three-horse race. It happened in 2023, and it will happen again. The main reason for the coalition is to unseat the president, and all those involved know it. Peter Obi came third in the 2023 elections because he and Atiku decided to go solo."

2027 election: Ayodele predicts Obi's fate
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Primate Elijah Ayodele claimed that Obi cannot emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria.
In a recent video posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, seen by Legit.ng, the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church founder predicted doom for Nigeria in the event that the former Anambra state governor becomes the country's leader.
Ayodele claimed that Obi is a pretender who should not be given the chance to lead Nigeria.
