Speaking with Legit.ng on Sunday, July 27, Itopa stated:
“Governor Adeleke’s open declaration for President Tinubu, while still a sitting PDP governor, is both shocking and unacceptable. You cannot eat from one pot and praise another kitchen. This act of disloyalty undermines the very foundation of our party and should not go unpunished.”
He further urged the PDP’s national leadership to take immediate disciplinary action:
