The groom, Eric Chukwuebuka, a content creator on Facebook with the name Anooda-matta, shared his wedding invitation on the social media platform on Saturday, August 2.

The groom also released his pre-wedding pictures with his wife-to-be, Blessing Chetachi.

From the wedding invitation, it was stated that the wedding ceremony would be held on August 17 at Gracestream Worship Center, the former NITEL building beside Toronto Hospital, Upper Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra state.

Some people wondered why they chose not to have a wedding reception. A Facebook user, Emmanuel Kings, hailed the couple's 'no reception' policy. In his words:

Possible budget for small Nigerian wedding

According to NaijaGlamWedding, a budget between N200,000 to N300,000 will organise a very small wedding where the guests are not more than 50, and venue is a rent-free compound.

For this kind of wedding, things like DIY decor would be needed and average of N4,000 can be budgeted for a guest.

Everything had this kind of low-budget wedding will be minimal as added costs could come in with an thing done extra.
