Lord's Chosen Church Founder Suspends His Son Who Recently Married, Speaks in New Video

The General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (TLCCRM), Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has suspended his son, Benhail Muoka, following his wedding to his partner, Precious Duru, on Saturday, July 26.
Muoka disclosed this during a recent sermon where he admonished parents to take charge of their homes and discipline their children when they err.

Why Lord's Chosen founder suspended son
In the preaching excerpt shared on Facebook by Chosen Son TV, Muoka urged parents to instill fear in their children and not hesitate to discipline them when necessary.
Using himself as an example, Muoka said he disciplined his newly-wedded son at night by informing him that he was suspended for acting contrary to his teachings at his wedding.
He warned parents not to allow their children to grow beyond them and perish. His statement read:
"Look at what would have happened. And if you don't learn lesson from this, you might be a victim of your own word.
"Which is not the will of God for you. So, control your children. Let them be subject to you. Let them fear you. Let them do what you want them to do.
"And if they have done something wrong, you don't waste time. You have to discipline them. Praise the Lord. I said, you don't do what? You don't waste time, you have to discipline them.
"Don't say they are too big, they have gone to school and you don't have power over them. That is wrong.
"Even me, at this point in time, I still discipline my children. One of them wedded yesterday, I disciplined him last night. Yes. I said, you are now suspended because you must do what I asked you, what I am teaching in your wedding. So, I have to do what? Discipline him.
"I said now, you will stop whatever you are doing, so that you will have pain. So, you have to discipline your children.
"Don't allow them to overgrown you and then perish. So, I discipline my own children and you have to discipline your own children."

Lord's Chosen member reacts to suspension
A female member of the church wondered why there was much buzz around Benhail's wedding.
She said that the wedding gown Precious wore was modest, and no part of her body showed.
In a long Facebook video, the church member begged the Lord's Chosen Church overseer to reverse the suspension.
Theologian speaks on suspension
Weighing in on Pastor Mouka's decision in a chat with Legit.ng, theologian, Dr. Benard Andrew, described the action as consistent with church dogma, if it was done within doctrinal limits:
"Most churches function through what we call a doctrinal and dogmatic lens. A doctrine is a set of beliefs held and taught by the Church of God based on the teachings of Jesus and his Apostles. Every Christian is supposed to abide by it, irrespective of denominational affiliation.”
"Pastor Lazarus most likely suspended his son because his son did not adhere to the dogmatic tenets of the local church; and as long as the son professes to be a member of that church, he is bound to obey it. So I don’t see anything wrong with his action as long as it was carried out within the boundaries of the church teachings and dogmas.”
Lord's Chosen founder's son dances with wife
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the last son of the Lord's Chosen Church founder was seen dancing with his wife at their wedding.
During their dance time at the wedding reception, the vibrant groom, who wore a light sky blue suit, held his new wife's hand as he dictated proceedings on the dance floor.
The wife tried to match her husband's energy as they danced happily. The couple's dance moment was shared on Facebook by the page Chosen Son TV and gained traction on the social media platform.
