The woman, identified as Nykia Hamilton, attended to customers while multitasking in a way that impressed netizens.

The video was shared on TikTok by @dejlatae, who said the staff member who was alone was doing everything to make customers happy.

She said:

"She’s doing the fries, the burger, the chicken sandwiches. She’s doing everything she needs to do to make sure everybody is okay in here."

In an interview with WACH Fox 57, Nykia said she is a single mother and that she was working to feed her children who depend on her.

She said:

"At the end of the day, I do it for them. I've got three kids to take care of, I'm a single mother," she told WACH Fox 57. "I still got to feed them, and I've got a child about to go to school. You got to do what you got to do. I'm trying to do my best. I've got three babies and they depend on me. They love me. I be missing my own kids' lives, I work a lot. I am having to provide for them and I really don't be having time to spend with them, and it hurts me a lot. Hopefully one day I won't have to worry so much and I can actually be there for them."

According to the story, she was the only staff member at the branch during the shift because someone had unexpectedly quit.

"I had to do the dishes, do prep, do the floors, do the front counter, drive-thru. We just ain't got no employees, nobody wants to work no more."

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Nykia said she has been sacked by the company.

Per the Daily Mail, Nytia reported on August 8 that she lost her job following the viral video.

She said, as quoted by Ladbible:

"[Burger King] fired me because I’ve been late because of my kids. My kids come first. Y’all don’t pay for no babysitter, or nothing."
