"I resigned frm teaching, maths, physics and Basic tech, because my salary was 23k before deduction like late coming, why do you think there are lesser male teachers today? We, males, can't live on that kinda amount, I left to be carrying concrete to earn 5k daily, so did others."

"Teachers are poorly compensated all over the country. Not to defend David Oyedepo but I am keen to know why you mentioned his name rather than the establishment. Again, this is not to defend him or any person who is underpaying staff."

"If a school students are paying 700k as fees no teacher in that school should earn nothing less than 200k per month."

"Imagine earning ₦25k after 5 years of teaching in a school that charges hundreds of thousands per term. That’s how depression starts. That’s why teachers turn bitter, why some drown in drugs, why mental health in Nigeria is in shambles. Poverty isn’t just lack of money, it’s a slow poison."
