Amid the trending viral altercation between an Ibom Air hostess and a passenger, Comfort Emmanson, some customers of the airline opened up about their experiences.
Comfort was filmed having a physical altercation with an air hostess and other officials as she was dragged out of the plane, and her privates were exposed.

A statement from the airline claimed that the issue started when the passenger refused to turn off her phone as directed by the crew member.

1. Lady shares viral Ibom Air hostess’ behaviour
A lady, Benita Ezinne Ibeh, shared her encounter with the air hostess involved in the viral Comfort Emmanson case.
Benita took to her Facebook page to share how the air hostess behaved towards her, describing the airline worker as rude.
Her post partly read:
“We are all guilty of leaving our phones on flight mode, it’s called flight mode for a reason please. I create contents on air and nothing has happened. That girl deserves justice. I had an encounter with that same Ibom air hostess, very rude somebody. Well it’s safe to say Ibom Air if that girl doesnt get justice, you just lost a passenger.”
2. Regular Ibom Air customer rates hostesses’ behaviour
A regular flier of Ibom Air, Courage Galah, shared his experience with the airline’s air hostesses.
On his X page, @CourageGalah opened up on how the crew members and air hostesses behaved towards passengers.
He noted that Ibom Air’s crew members were rude and had “bad behaviour.”
His post partly read:
“I'm speaking from an informed position. I've flown with this airline at least 6 times this year. I know how they behave. Even when they're checking you, they're still rude. I missed a flight cos they said I was late. The flight didn't leave till 2hrs later. Had to book Airpeace.”

3. Lady shares aunt’s Ibom Air experience
Another lady on Facebook, Vicky Bon Edikan-Oboezi, shared her aunt’s experience with Ibom Air crew members.
While reacting to the viral incident, Vicky, who said Ibom Air hostesses had been rude to her aunt twice, stated that two wrongs did not make a right.
She said in her post:
“The Ibom AIR hostess should be questioned. How did the passenger’s wig fall off from her head? That I know the passenger is ill mannered doesn’t mean she wasn’t being provoked. The passenger didn’t have rights to slap the hostess, no matter what!
"A passenger was rightly not supposed to be dragged out like that, and same Ibom air staff covered her even when her naked body was being exposed.
"This didn’t happen in a park. It happened in an airplane! The class is off. Twice, Ibom Air hostesses have been rude to my big aunty. Two wrongs can’t make a right!!! If you are not trained to calm a mad passenger, you should not be working in an airplane!!!!”
Old video of Comfort in Ibom Air surfaces
As Nigerians analysed the situation, an old video of Comfort using Ibom Air surfaced, suggesting that she was a regular user of the airline.
In the video shared on her TikTok page, the lady was seen boarding an Air Ibom flight, showing off her passport, cash, and the interior of the plane during her flight to Ghana.
