Amid the trending issue involving an Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson, a regular flier of the airline, Courage Galah, shared his experience with the hostesses.
Comfort was filmed slapping an air hostess on the plane and resisting arrest after airport security confronted her at the Lagos airport in videos that have gone viral.

The videos showed how the passenger struggled with aviation security and ground officials who tried to remove her from the plane.
In one of the videos, the passenger’s private body parts were exposed during the struggle to have her pulled out of the aircraft.
Ibom Air customer rates air hostesses’ behaviour
Shortly after the news went viral, it was reported that Comfort was remanded in Kirikiri Prison after being charged in court.
As Nigerians analysed the situation, a regular on the airline opened up about his experience with the hostesses.
On his X page, @CourageGalah opened up on how the crew members and air hostesses behaved towards passengers, writing:
“I've flown Ibom Air several times this year. Their crew members are rude and have a bad behavior. What happened a few days ago is regrettable. Air hostesses are becoming uncultured. Sad.”
He added:
“I'm speaking from an informed position. I've flown with this airline at least 6 times this year. I know how they behave. Even when they're checking you, they're still rude. I missed a flight cos they said I was late. The flight didn't leave till 2hrs later. Had to book Airpeace.”

Lekan Olayiwola, a public-facing policy analyst, stressed the need for improved passenger education and stronger privacy safeguards in airline and terminal operations.
He proposed in his opinion shared with Legit.ng that:
“Airlines and terminals must launch passenger sensitization campaigns, educating travellers on their rights and responsibilities. Privacy protection protocols must be instituted to prevent public humiliation. No passenger should be stripped or filmed without consent, regardless of the offense."
Old video of Ibom Air passenger surfaces
Meanwhile, Legit.ng also reported that as Nigerians analysed the situation, an old video of Comfort using Ibom Air surfaced, suggesting that she was a regular user of the airline.
In the video shared on her TikTok page, the lady was seen boarding a flight, showing off her passport, cash, and the interior of the plane during her flight to Ghana with the airline.
