On his X page, @solaadio, he mentioned three things that could have been done differently in the accident, writing:

"Ibom Air is my favourite airline in Nigeria but I am sorry to say that they were not well trained to handle crisis situations. Nigerian airline crew and ground staff lack training. The aircraft door should never have been opened until security arrived.
"All passengers should have been told to remain seated without giving any clues that security was coming. The security should have boarded the aircraft and cuffed the criminal away before any disembarkment commenced. The Ibom hostess was in a dangerous situation as the criminal could have easily pushed her down the stairs."

"It's important to note that, judging by the account of Ibom Air, the assaulter had overpowered the hostess and others trying to stop her and was even reaching out for al2hat could've been a lethal weapon. Leaving them in a confined space will be more unsafe for all, I think."
