A Nigerian man has urged people not to laugh at Cubana Chief Priest, who did not get an American visa to attend Davido's wedding.
The popular socialite was denied a visa, which he would have used to enter the United States to attend Davido's wedding happening in Miami.

Many Nigerians are reacting to the development, but one man has said there was no need to laugh at Cubana Chief Priest.
In his post, Charles Awuzie said having money does not mean one will be granted an automatic visa.
He said:
"These people don’t know that even our well-respected Bishop David OYEDEPO has been refused visas many times by UK. I know at least 2 Billionaires who have been refused visa to visit South Africa 🇿🇦 - yes, just SA oh. Let’s not talk about America … Success with Visa applications is not always about money."
Mr Awuzie said a visa is not a sign of being rich, but noted that several factors are considered before one is granted a visa.
His words:
"Visa is not sign of wealth. Nigerian visa is one of the most difficult visas to get. Foreigners queue at our embassies for Nigerian visa. When it comes to visas, it’s not always about money. In fact, your nationality is the first thing they check before they consider your application. It’s witchcraft to laugh at rich people just because they are facing a temporary challenge."

"Visit Visa Decision is technically at the discretion of the Clearance officer. It’s not point based, You may have a closing balance of 10M with convincing reason for visiting and you’ll get your visa, you can also have a closing balance of 200m with another convincing reason and get denied, no matter how careful or straightforward your application is, the Person accessing your application may still not find your visit convincing."

"Charles, your post still didn't explain why the Chief Priest was denied a visa to USA. I advise that you ask him, or investigate it yourself. According to the man, his visa denial has happened long before David's wedding."
Lady explains why Davido spent much money on his wedding
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady joined those analysing the amount singer Davido spent on his white wedding in Miami.
In a video she posted on TikTok, the lady stated the reason she thinks Davido is spending so much money on the wedding.
According to her, Davido is a superstar, and people should not be concerned about how much he is spending since he can afford it.
