They wore white shirts adorned with messages from well-wishers, a style often associated with university graduates.

Recall that the WAEC had made the 2025 examination results available to candidates on Monday, August 4, 2025.

A total of 1,973,253 students had registered for the examination, with males numbering 979,228 and females numbering 994,025.

However, the actual number of candidates who sat the examination was slightly lower. The assessment took place in over 23,000 schools across the country.
