Photographer at Fish Magnet's Candlelight Procession Shares Sad Observation about VeryDarkMan's Eyes

A Nigerian photographer, Idris Destiny Bashiru, has shared what he observed about VeryDarkMan's eyes after attending the candlelight procession for the late CEO of Fish Magnet outlet, Ifesinachi Onyekere, the young Anambra businessman found dead on July 27.

Idris, a cinematographer, noted that the procession was also to raise awareness about the alarming security situation in the country.

Idris, in a Facebook post, noted that he saw pain in the eyes of VeryDarkMan and released pictures he had taken at the procession to show his observation.

The photographer recounted how he was attacked in 2024, during which he lost his camera and other things worth over N1 million.

He appealed to the government to fix the country's security problem, lamenting that the young ones are being killed. His Facebook post read:

"THE PAINS IN HIS EYE'S 🥲😭.
"Yesterday we had a peaceful candle 🕯 light walk in honor or late Martin CEO Fish Magnet that was kpai just like that a week ago.
"And also to raise awareness of the Magnalization of Insecurities in Nigeria is becoming Alarming and it's not longer funny.
"As business owner, creator, Cinematographer or whatever level u find urself u áŕêń'ť safe anymore.
"As a Photographer or Videographer we walk around with expensive gadgets almost all the time but the problem is we are safe.
"I remember vividly 2024 I was attacked and I lost my camera, flash and other things worth over 1m, raise awareness immediately to the police and other security agency but till now nothing was done cause they demanded me to pay them first before they help me 🥲, imagine.
