Proud sister displays brother's WAEC 2025 result

Identified as @opesato2 on X, the proud sister shared her sibling's outstanding result, seeking help to secure a scholarship opportunity for him.

According to her post, the student achieved impressive grades, including 6As, 2Bs, and a C in English.

She expressed her pride and satisfaction over the result and sought scholarship opportunities for the young boy.

Few days ago, the West African Examinations Council had announced the availability of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results.

As of Monday, August 4, 2025, candidates who participated in the examination were able access their results to know their fate.

In a statement shared on social media, the council disclosed that nearly two million candidates registered for the examination, with a near-equal split between males and females.

Slightly more females, approximately 994,025, registered compared to around 979,228 males.

The examination was taken by the vast majority of registered candidates, with only a handful not sitting the test.

The assessment was conducted across a vast network of schools, totaling over 23,000 institutions nationwide.

The post garnered massive reactions with many Nigerians flooding the comments section to offer congratulatory messages and words of encouragement to the student.

Many were impressed by his exceptional academic ability, particularly in a subject like Further Maths.
