The result is out, and his performance was shared on X by @gambleawareng1, who congratulated him for passing all the subjects.

The post reads:

"A 17-year-old in our community quit his gam'bling addiction some months back. He was able to concentrate on his studies and came out with very good results in WAEC! Congrats to him. This is what happens when you #TakeControl."

The result shows that the boy scored A1 in geography, civic education, and chemistry.

Also, he scored in Islamic studies, C5 in English language, B3 in general mathematics, B2 in biology, B3 in physics and animal husbandry.

WAEC shares where to check result

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Shortly after the examination body made the announcement, an X user attempted to check his own result.

He shared the information that was displayed on his screen, indicating that he did not see the result.

According to WAEC, the result of the examination can be accessed through its website.

WAEC wrote in the announcement made on X:

"The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025."

WAEC candidates sign out from school

A group of students were seen celebrating after they completed their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

On the last day of the examination, the students decided to sign out of secondary school like university graduates.

A video posted by one of them showed how they celebrated by spraying what appeared to be money in the air.

WAEC: Man promises to reward his niece

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian man said he was going to give his niece a cash gift of N2 million if she does well in the 2025 WAEC.

The man, Niyi Omotoso, shared his own WAEC result showing he scored A1 in seven WAEC subjects when he wrote the examination in 2011.

He said if his niece could finish the 2025 WAEC and return home with a better result, she would get the huge cash reward.
