A popular influencer, Safeera Abba, has spoken out after her husband, Ahmed Yusuf, finalised his divorce from his first wife, Safiya.
The news had sparked controversy online, with many accusing Safeera of being the cause of the split.

Safeera Abba speaks on husband's divorce case
Safeera Abba addressed the issue in a post which was reshared by @instablog9ja on Instagram.
In the post, Safeera hinted at the difficulties her husband faced in his previous marriage, stating that he had endured unacceptable behaviour over time.
According to her, her husband ended the relationship because he kept on forgiving until the point where he couldn't anymore.
She emphasised that she was not the cause of the divorce, but rather a source of love and support for her husband after his painful experience.

Speaking further, she expressed her frustration with the lies and accusations she had faced since the divorce.
The influencer concluded her post by leaving the matter in the hands of Allah, trusting in His justice and knowledge of the truth.
In her words:
"It is painful to be insulted, judged, and misunderstood by people who don't know the full story. My husband made a choice to end his previous marriage, a decision that was personal and painful in its own way, not out of pride or pressure, but for reasons that only those truly involved would understand.
"My husband did not leave his past for no reason; there were things done over time that no man should have to live with that crossed lines. He held on longer than most would have; he kept forgiving, hoping things would change, but when a person keeps showing you who they are, you can't force peace where it doesn't exist. He chose peace, and I chose love that came after pain, not because I caused it, but because I respected what came before me.
"They didn't see what broke him; they just needed someone to blame and have become the easiest target. I've never come out to seek pity; I'm not here to play innocent. I'm just tired of the lies. I don't speak to gain sympathy; I speak because silence has allowed too many lies to grow. People speak with so much confidence, yet they were not there; they don't know what really happened. But ever since, I've been the one attacked, caused, blamed, lied about, and dragged into a situation I did not create.
"I didn't destroy anything; I didn't take what wasn't mine. I simply accepted love that came to me honestly. To everyone who keeps pushing the wrong story, may Allah forgive you. And to those who truly understand, thank you for your kindness. But at the end of the day, Allah knows; He sees hearts; He sees actions; He sees what people hide behind their words. I leave it all to Allah; He knows every truth that's been hidden behind every silence. That's enough for me.

Ahmed Yusuf serves warning
Ahmed warned people against cyberbullying as he asked the public not to drag his wife into the drama going on.
A statement he released on his Instagram partly read:
"You know me I like educating you all for free before I do anything. Cyber bullying is part of the 2015 cyber crime act of the federal republic of Nigeria. Note you are not bullying me oh, you can't bully me but you are bullying somebody that did not even do anything. Now you all know I don't care about you all..."
Ahmed Yusuf marries childhood sweetheart Safeera
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian couple, Ahmed and Safeera, went viral on social media after tying the knot with each other.
This happened one year after they allegedly got separated and her man got married to another lady named Safiya, who delivered his first child.
