The family of Onyekere Martins Ifesinachi, a businessman known as Fish Magnet, released a statement confirming his tragic death.
According to the family, Fish Magnet was unfortunately murdered by undisclosed people on July 27, 2025.

The statement was shared on the official TikTok page @fishmagnett, where the family expressed their gratitude for the love and support.
Fish Magnet's family asked that their privacy be respected during this challenging period, while thanking those who had shown love and prayers.
In the heartfelt message, they wrote:
"It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of the CEO of Fish Magnet Company, Onyekesi Martins Ifesinachi AKA Fish Magnet, whose tragic murder occurred on Sunday, 27th July, 2025.
