The video, posted on TikTok by user @officiallowkey3, captured the moment when the man's first wife, a Nigerian woman, and their son met his second wife, a foreigner.
Despite already being married to the Nigerian woman and having a son with her, the man had chosen to get a second wife.
The meeting between the two women, however, seemed genuinely cordial with no apparent sign of resentment.
The video showed the second wife happily carrying the son of her co-wife and playing with him in the presence of others.

Commenting on the story, a relationship expert Peace Onwuegbu advised the man to treat both wives equally since he chose to become a polygamist.
In her words:
"Well polygamy is a choice and not a taboo. Some people choose it. Some women also willingly choose to be the wives of polygamists. But whoever chooses to take that path should try to treat the two wives equally. Not placing one over the other."
