The 26-year-old Sunday said he hailed from Warri, Delta state and was born into a polygamous home, which made him have an unpleasant experience.
He told Legit.ng:
“I am from a polygamous family, never knew who my mom was not until I was in my final year in the university, I was told by my granny that my mom and dad separated when I was age 2. I have an elder sister who currently stays in Warri with her husband; she wasn’t fortunate enough to go to school because there was no sponsor or anyone to do that.
“I did goto school because I was determined to and did alot of hustle like clearing of land, sand filling of house, rooting down of trees in site, working in sawmill, serving as laborer to bricklayers to just to sponsor myself and pay bills during my time as as student in school which greatly affected my result as most times.
“I miss a lot of lectures and practicals just to go hustle and find means to pay my school fees, rent, feeding, transportation and other fees. I have also worked as a helper in Oshodi international market, helping buyers to transport their goods to where they will board vehicles to their various destinations”
Sunday graduated from FUOYE, served in Ogun
The ex-NYSC member said he graduated from the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti state, and studied Biochemistry with a CGPA of 3.46.

The ex-corps member shared why he didn’t want to be retained in the schools where he served.
His words:
“My efforts weren’t well appreciated; I felt I was used while working in both schools. As a real street hustler. I don’t think there isn’t a place I can work . I can work anywhere.”

Ex-corps member speaks on job-hunting, Oshodi protest
He shared why he decided to do a one-man protest in Oshodi and shared his unpleasant experience.
Sunday told Legit.ng:
“My job hunting experience has not been so good. I have applied online to several places and still yet to get a text or a job from anyone. That’s why I decided to voice out in the street of Oshodi because it’s said that a closed mouth is a closed destiny.
"I decided to go for a one-man protest not to speak only for myself but for all graduates across Nigeria because it’s said education is the key to success and not every one of us that went to school was opportuned to learn a skill due to one reason or the other. Also, there must be a change in the way graduates are being treated in this country while searching for a job.”
Speaking on why he took his protest to Oshodi, Sunday said:
“I chose Oshodi bridge as my location because firstly, I have worked in Oshodi as a goods carrier for market women and people who came to buy goods to sell in their various locations, and I thought that there are lots of masses in Oshodi, and it would help if I could see someone to offer me a better job opportunity
“My experience during the protest was the worst. Thank God I am alive and safe. Some thugs came to me and started threatening me that i should leave the bridge and find another location to go do my protests that they were not the one that ask me to go to school that I can see they didn’t go to school and I am disturbing the masses and causing holdup on the bridge with my placard and one man protest.
“People passing told them they should leave me alone for voicing out that I knew how I have tried getting a job without getting one, and the next thing they did was to tore the placard on my hand and starting throwing hands at me that they would beat me up if I don’t leave the bridge with immediate effect.”
