Video of Anambra Businessman Fish Magnet Disclosing Those Angry With Him Resurfaces after His Death

Mixed reactions have followed an old video of Ifesinachi Onyekere, popularly known as Fish Magnet, in which he mentioned those who were angry with him and explains why.
This comes as the young Anambra fish seller's body was found by the roadside days after he was kidnapped, and a ransom was paid.

His death threw Verydarkman and many Nigerians into mourning. A TikTok user, @keish261, shared the old clip on the social media platform as he mourned Fish Magnet. He wrote:
"I have a lot to say but yadiba rip hardworker. Anambra state is now unsafe for youths meanwhile principal is dancing let’s go online may God help us."
What Fish Magnet said in old video
In the clip, Fish Magnet said fish sellers were angry with him because he reduced the price of the edible for everyone. In his words:
"You understand. Fish sellers are angry with me because I came into the industry and I am crashing price for everybody.
"I'm reducing the price."
Fish Magnet: Barrister's advice to his family
In an exclusive chat with Legit.ng, Barrister Ebimnamaonye Chidera Divine, offered a piece of advice to Fish Magnet's family regarding their rights to seek justice and also the legal processes they need to follow.
"Murder is a criminal offence. Criminal offences are not centred on compensation but on punishment, unlike civil disputes.
"However, the family of the deceased can pursue both the crime of murder and, on the other hand, institute a breach of the fundamental right to life of the deceased.
"For justice from the criminal perspective, the family must have reported the matter to the law enforcement agents, who would then effect an arrest and investigate the crime. It is after the investigations are completed that the charge of murder can be brought to court."

Businesswoman pained by Fish Magnet's death
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a businesswoman had mourned the tragic demise of Fish Magnet.
In a Facebook post, the woman disclosed that she wanted to buy fish worth N98k from Fish Magnet, whom she greatly admires, before his untimely demise.
She shared their last WhatsApp before his demise and described him as an honest and hardworking Igbo youth. His death left her in pain.
