A Nigerian hair vendor's recent encounter with a female customer has sparked outrage on social media.
The vendor shared a screenshot of an insulting message she received from the customer, who had purchased a wig worth approximately N18,000.

Hair vendor posts WhatsApp message from customer
The vendor, known as @shalomwigs on TikTok, detailed how she handled the unexpected situation.
According to her, after receiving the insulting message from the customer, she chose not to engage further with the lady.
She left the customer's message on "read" without responding, and calmly instructed her driver to retrieve the package, canceling the transaction.

After that, she "ghosted" the customer for two weeks, and during that period, the customer apparently realised her mistake and began to beg.

In her words:
"If no be insult wey my customer give me wetin I for chop today? I left her on read and calmly called the driver, told him something came up and he should bring the package back. I ghosted her for two weeks, her sense later told her to beg. 18k, it’s always them."
Commenting on the story, a Nigerian hair dresser, Olivia Somadina, said she has received worse messages including threats from customers.
In her words:
"This one is small. If you see the kind of messages these people send to me. Most of them are now on my block list. Some will wish you dead because of hair of how much? Very evil."
