The video was posted by TikTok user @bibianebele, a young student who had relocated to the United Kingdom.

In her caption, she expressed her joy over the impact that earning £13 (about N27,000) per hour had on her life.

According to her, it did not only cover her shame, but also changed her life and gave her hope.

"It might just be £13 per hour to them. But for some of us, it covered shame, changed lives and gave us hope. Thank you UK," she said.

Commenting on the story, a Nigerian lady based in the UK, Amanda Ifesinachi, said she's also comfortable with her current life abroad.

"I am also grateful to UK because I wouldn't have achieved half of what I have today if I was still in Nigeria. UK has really changed my life. I am very happy it was my best decision so far coming here."
