A Nigerian man discovered his grandfather's sales book, which he used to record his business activities in 1977.
After seeing the cost of cement in that year, the man decided to share it on TikTok for people to see.

The post is captioned:
"I got to see my grandpa's sales book. How do I explain that to my kids?"
In the video posted by @enthonyugo, the notebook contained the number of bags of cement his grandfather sold each day.
According to the records, a bag of cement cost N5 as of January 1977. However, the cost was reduced to N4.20 in February of the same year.
By March of 1977, a bag of cement was sold at N3.85 at the same shop.
Also, when his grandfather ordered 400 bags of cement, he paid a lorry N120 to bring it to his shop.

Man starts business after serving as apprentice
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian man expressed excitement that he established his own business after moving to Lagos to learn a trade.
The man said he moved to Lagos in 2023 to serve as an apprentice to someone else who trained him.
After the training in the line of business, he was settled, and he opened his own business in the same city.
