A heated conversation between a Nigerian nail technician and her apprentice has caught the attention of netizens.
The duo had gotten into a dispute on WhatsApp over a misunderstanding about the shop's opening.

Apprentice's message to boss gets attention
The apprentice had arrived at the shop, only to find it locked, and subsequently sent messages to her boss expressing her frustration.
Sharing the messages online, the boss identified as @teesbeautybar0 on TikTok, noted that she had taken in a student that was more than her.

"POV: When you collect student wey pass you for shop. I don collect student wey pass my power. Na to beat me hi remain like this," she said.
According to the messages, the apprentice had been waiting outside the shop for over 30 minutes and was seeking clarification on when her boss would arrive or if she should collect the key.

"I dey shop o. The shop is locked. Oga are you coming soon. Abi I should come for key. I've been standing in shop now more than 30 minutes. Nobody is here. And I asked question nobody is responding. If you're not opening shop, let me know that I waste transport and come. I should be going back home. We're supposed to be doing practical on Sunday, nobody is in shop," the apprentice said.
However, the boss took issue with the tone of the apprentice's messages and voice note, responding angrily.

In her words:
"Are you okay at all? What's all these for? I sent voice note to the group. You listened to it. You didn't respond and you're telling me I dey shop o. Hear yourself. Even the voice note you sent. The audacity as if I just locked shop and I don't want to come to the shop. Shey you don't know my house to come and collect key? Why are you talking like this? I don't understand. Look at the way you're even talking."
The exchange between the duo sparked debate online, with many viewers offering their perspectives on the matter.
Commenting on the story, a Nigerian tailor, Angela Mba, said she once got into a fight with an apprentice due to disrespect.
"No be small wahala these apprentice dey give o. I fought with one on the road because of disrespect. Heavy disrespect. I couldn't take it. I sacked her after and refunded part of her money because I didn't want any of us to go to police station," she said.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady said she left her shop for her storekeeper but when she came back, the girl was found sleeping.
The shopkeeper was seen resting her head on the counter of the shop and sleeping tiresomely when the madam came back.
