Dangote to build largest port
The richest man in Africa has submitted his plan to build Nigeria's largest port in Ogun, an effort that will boost the country's economy.
The project named Olokola has been delayed for several years due to regulations. If finally built, it will go a long way in decongesting Lagos ports.
Although Dangote had earlier announced his plans in March, he submitted his final plans in late June 2025.
While confirming the final regulatory filings, Dangote, in an interview, said:
“This will be the biggest, deepest port in Nigeria."
