An emotional moment was captured on camera when a Nigerian father heard his daughter's examination result.

His reaction to her amazing result was recorded in a video that quickly went viral and garnered lots of comments on TikTok.

The father, a devoted and loving parent, had spent an entire day praying in church for his daughter's success in her pharmacy examination.

The video, shared by @oriaku_baby on TikTok, showed the moment the daughter walked into the church to break the news of her great exam result to her father.

Overcome with emotion, the father burst into tears of joy upon hearing that his daughter had passed her exam.

The caption of the video read:

"My sister pharmacy exam result was coming out today and my dear dad spent the whole day in church. My sister went to the church to break the news to him and bring him home. Igbo fathers and their daughters. When next I am asked why my standard for a husband is so high, I will show them this video!

"The result for my sisters exam was coming out today and my dear father spent the whole day in the church praying for her! Commenting on the story, Nigerian mother Angela Onuoha noted that prayer works, as she's seen it make a difference in her children's lives.

"Prayer works o. I am an evidence. My children are evidence of prayer. I know how many times I have cried to God and he did the work and changed the situation," she said.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian lady shared a video showing the moment her sister called their father to inform him about her 2025 UTME score.

In a video, the lady said her sister had taken the examination for three consecutive times but had been unable to secure admission to the university.
