In a video by @okikiolatours on TikTok, he showed when he was returning to Nigeria after completing his studies.

He said:

“Finally leaving the United Kingdom to Nigeria after completing my studies. Relocating back to Nigeria after completing my studies. A good relief from tax.”

In another video, he listed five reasons for his return to Nigeria, including peace of mind, challenges with attending church activities, lifestyle, social life and freedom from tax.

In another video, the man said that, as much as returning to Nigeria is not a setback, it is always good for the returnee to put some things in place before making the move.

Sharing his experience, he said that present-day Nigeria is quite different from what the person must have known a few years ago.

He talked about the rising cost of internet subscription, and how he daily spends high to stay connected.

The abroad returnee wondered why Nigeria is so hard and people are not complaining much about the situation. He mentioned the price of soft drinks has skyrocked. He complained about the high cost of transportation also.

He added:

"Things hard. Pure water wey we dey buy N5, N10... una know how much dem dey sell for una area nau."

A person (@funanyachukwu) who watched his follow-up video said:

"This was my fear when I saw your earlier tweet going to Nigeria. I went to Nigeria earlier. I just knew i wasn’t going to go back."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian lady's admission to the University of Hull was withdrawn just three days before her resumption, which was a challenging period for her.

In a TikTok video, Toyin explained why her admission was revoked and advised intending applicants on what to do.
