It further instructed candidates to log into their profiles on the recruitment portal using their credentials to complete the process, stating that:

The directive follows reports of increased interest in the 2024 recruitment drive, which has attracted thousands of applicants seeking employment in Nigeria’s public service.

Recruitment portal was earlier opened in February

The civil service recruitment began in February 2025 when the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration, through the FCSC, announced vacancies for various positions in the Federal Civil Service.

The application portal remained open until March 10, 2025.

At the time, the FCSC encouraged all eligible Nigerians to apply through the official website, promising a fair and transparent selection process.

“All interested candidates must ensure they upload their credentials and fill in accurate details,” the Commission previously advised.

Candidates who successfully completed the earlier stage of the recruitment and have been shortlisted are expected to take this next step seriously. Failure to complete the new form within the 72-hour window may result in disqualification.

Applicants are urged to log in to their individual profiles via the official FCSC portal to check their status and follow the provided instructions.
