Wife of former Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Olufunso Amosun, has joined the growing list of social media users taking part in the viral Nicki Minaj challenge.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, August 3, the 59-year-old was seen playfully striking the dramatic pose made popular by a 2013 Nicki Minaj music video.

The pose, which involves one leg placed over the other while seated poolside in high heels, has recently resurfaced online and sparked a global challenge.
Amosun, dressed casually and smiling throughout the clip, made several attempts at recreating the pose and even laughed at herself in the process.

The trend originated when a fan reposted a clip from Nicki Minaj’s High School music video from 2013, where the rapper posed by the pool in a carefully balanced stance.

According to the Hindustan Times, the challenge has gone viral across platforms, with thousands of users attempting to mimic the now-iconic pose.

The video of Mrs Amosun’s attempt has sparked a flurry of comments from Nigerians on social media, particularly Facebook.
While some praised her for being lively and relatable, others questioned the appropriateness of the act given her age and social status.
Raymond Solar Iwuji wrote,
“Na overfeeding dey worry her."
While Bolaji Dada added,
“You can keep doing that every minute because you are not hungry or thinking of how to get a meal.”
Another user, Olumide Adewoye, commented,
“At what age?”
However, others came to her defence. Victor Chinaemerem said,
“Let’s appreciate her biko. This was beautiful to watch. Whether she’s the wife of a pauper or a politician, the demure she served alone is 🔥🔥.”
Mulero Ademola called her

Amosun under fire for celebrating Buhari at 82
