Aso Rock Villa, Abuja - President Bola Tinubu will host the victorious Super Falcons squad and coaching crew at the presidential villa in Abuja on Monday, July 28.
Legit.ng reports that the team returned to the country on Monday afternoon, July 28, and were received by Nigerian government officials at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

Vanguard confirmed the Super Falcons' imminent meeting with President Tinubu, which may culminate in honours and gifts.
Already, on Saturday, July 26, President Tinubu congratulated the Super Falcons.
Tinubu said, through a statement by Bayo Onanuga, one of his spokespersons:
“The Super Falcons’ spectacular performance tonight in Rabat, coming from behind to beat a spirited Moroccan side playing in front of a passionate home crowd, exemplifies the determination that defines the Nigerian spirit.
“With hard work, dedication, and tenacity, you have achieved the mission the nation dreamed of and prayed for. The nation looks forward to welcoming our champions."
As reported by The Cable on Monday, July 28, the Falcons will also have an open-bus parade around the FCT, Abuja, with the newly-claimed trophy.
Recall substitute Jennifer Echegini scored the 88th-minute winner as Nigeria came from two goals behind to beat hosts Morocco 3-2 in a dramatic WAFCON final.

The triumph in Rabat on Saturday, July 26, confirmed the West Africans as the queens of women’s football in Africa as they pulled off a record-extending 10th title in 13 editions – 'Mission X', as they dubbed their efforts – to win the 2025 edition.
The next Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled for March 2026, also in Morocco, and will double as a qualifying competition for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

'Super Falcons cooked Morocco' - Expert
Meanwhile, reacting to the Super Falcons' achievement in Morocco, sports analyst Femi Fabunmi said all the players were magnificent.
Fabunmi told Legit.ng:
"The victory might not have come easy, but at 2-0 down I still knew they would win. It was beautiful to see that 'Mission X' was accomplished. Also amazing to witness the new trophy come home.
"Esther Okoronkwo was magnificent and the entire team cooked like boiled egg."
