Asa Asika, the manager of music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, responded to an alleged comment attributed to the singer about the English football club, Manchester United.
A blog on social media, in a viral post, had reported that Davido predicted Manchester United would win the Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.

Davido was alleged to have reacted to Manchester United's defeat by Arsenal, saying that the Red Devils played better than the Gunners, irrespective of the outcome of the game.
The blog quoted Davido as saying:
"Davido: United will win the Premier League 🗣️. Manchester United will win the Premier League this season. Arsenal only won due to a lucky goal. United, as a club, has changed, and their style of play has improved, giving me full confidence to support them. I am 100% behind United. Yes, Arsenal beat us, but we played better than them."
Reacting, Davido's manager, Asa Asika, reshared the news on his Instastory, laughing over the report. Tagging Davido to the post, the singer's manager wrote in a caption:
"Abeg, Davido, did I miss something? Where did you talk this one?"
