The Nkubis, whose marriage is blessed with a daughter, in an interview with BBC News Pidgin, opened up on why they decided to involve her in their family skit videos.

The couple, who described their daughter as a blessing to their family, disclosed they chose to feature her in their videos because they want people to know her.

Nkubi specifically stated that he didn't want the harsh realities of social media to catch his daughter unawares.

The skit maker and his wife recounted the bullying they received from people offline when they started dating. They, however, stated that it was nothing compared to the bullying they get on social media.

Nkubi's wife, who revealed that they plan to have at least one more child, added that she always avoids her comment section to protect her mental health.

"We wan give our pikin a bright future, we want to make people know her, I don't want the situation to catch her unaware. Social media dey amplify both judgment and hatred. The bullying has been ongoing since we started dating.
"Some people would taunt us when they see us together, but online bullying is much. To protect my mental health, I avoid the comment section. She is a blessing to the family; she turned our family around," Nkubi and his wife said.
