Toyin Lawani criticises Nigerian government
Commenting on this, Toyin Lawani questioned the forgiveness granted to Comfort, suggesting that it undermines due process and the right to be heard.
She pointed out that Comfort's swift detention without proper opportunity for defense or self-expression was troubling.
Additionally, Toyin Lawani averred that Nigeria’s method of handling important issues is the reason the UK-based activist Kemi Badenoch criticises the country day and night; rather than addressing this issue, her personality gets attacked instead.
The fashionista emphasised the lack of accountability on the part of the airline, noting that Comfort's dignity had been stripped without any apology or acknowledgement of the harm done.
She was disturbed by the fact that, despite the severity of the situation, Comfort’s forgiveness was being portrayed as if the matter had been resolved, without any responsibility being taken by the airline.

Toyin Lawani concluded by encouraging Comfort to pursue legal action, criticising the behaviour towards her and emphasising the need for accountability and respect for personal dignity.
In her words:
"She is forgiven?????? 🤣🤣🤣 yall joke too much ,The handling of this situation raises serious concerns about dignity, due process, and the right to be heard. The swift remand OF COMFORT and detention without adequate opportunity for self-expression or defense is troubling.
"Now you see why that Kemi can sit down and be against Nigeria so bad day and night ? Your own Birth country ,Yet everyone insults her for her views, It’s ironic that criticisms of her views on Nigeria are met with insults rather than constructive engagement.
"Rather than personal attacks, addressing the substance of her concerns could foster a more productive dialogue. Don’t you think ?
"The behavior towards miss comfort appears to be dismissive ,Perhaps it’s worth considering the impact of such actions on her mental health and state right now ,You can’t stripe someone of their dignity with no apology from the said Airline till now and all I’m hearing is she’s forgiven?
