Sophia emphasised that there is a tendency to silence black women and women in general, despite the fact that they are often the perpetrators of such atrocities.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Sophia Momodu got into a spat with some trolls as the musician is getting married in the US.

The issue began when Sophia posted a video of an American man discussing dating a free-spirited woman, captioned 'Surviving a free spirit' on her Snapstory.

The clip partly read:

“Messing with a free-spirited woman is not for the weak. She is free, and she has no problem showing you that she is free. My brother, that woman doesn’t belong to you.”

A Snapchat user urged the mother of one to marry and learn from Wizkid's baby mamas, who keep a low social media presence.

“Go and marry. Please learn from Wizkid’s babymamas. You hardly see them post because they respect themselves.”

Responding, Sophia openly wondered how someone could observe her every move if they didn't like her.

She also urged the online user to leave women alone, as she would not be swayed.

“Sarah, I hope you, your family and everyone you love go blind, cos how are you watching me when you don’t like me? Please, leave women alone. Imagine thinking you can make me feel bad cos my voice/platform is heavy. I am the prize!”

Another Snapchat user, although expressing affection for Sophia, advised her to be aware of how she responds to others in order to prevent bullies.

“I love you, Sofie, but I think they will misunderstand this pose now. Also, please be mindful of the way you reply to avoid bullies and drama.”

Sophia replied:

“Sweetie, I dgaf what a bunch of brokies who are dedicated to misunderstanding me have to say. Those who matter don’t mind. Also, y’all need to understand I’m a bigger bully. God is just working on me. And another thing, don’t ever come on my platform to tell me what I can or can’t talk about. Also, it’s Sophia to you”.
