Fuji singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, aka KWAM 1 or K1 de Ultimate, is trending again on social media following a heated altercation at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos between a female passenger and a flight attendant.

According to reports, the female passenger, arriving on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo, allegedly assaulted the flight attendant and confronted airport security officials.

Videos that emerged on social media show the visibly agitated passenger yelling at officials who attempted to pacify her.

In one clip, she appears to physically hit a female air hostess.

Airport police were able to restore calm after the disturbance.

The disturbance at Lagos airport comes just a few days after KWAM 1’s alleged in-flight misconduct in Abuja.

Legit.ng also reported that Michael Achimugu, Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), attributed the confrontation to the passenger’s refusal to comply with crew instructions.

KWAM 1 tenders apology

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that KWAM 1 apologised over the incident involving him at Abuja airport on August 5, 2025.

The Fuji singer expressed regret over the incident but maintained that the flask he carried on the day contained only water, not alcohol.

“The incident that occurred at the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was, to say the least, unfortunate," he said.
