The senior special assistant on media to the Delta state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, Ossai Ovie Success, on Thursday, August 7, caused a buzz on social media with his comment about Davido and Chioma’s upcoming white wedding.
Legit.ng reported that Davido and Chioma, who were traditionally married in June 2024, are set to have their white wedding, dubbed ChividoMiami2025, this weekend in Miami, United States.

The couple, as well as their family and friends, have been spotted in Miami, in preparation of the grand event.
Delta governor's aide faults ChividoMiami2025
Reacting, Ossai Success, in a post via his Facebook page, expressed disappointment in Davido and Chioma's upcoming white wedding.
According to Ossai, ChividoMiami2025 is a waste of money. He argued that recognised billionaires like Aliko Dangote, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg would not spend money recklessly.
The Delta state governor's aide added that there was no need for a white wedding in Miami, when Davido and Chioma's lavish traditional wedding in Lagos was already over a year.

"Davido and Chioma’s white wedding this weekend in Miami is a waste of money and i am disappointed . Having too much money doesn’t mean you should carelessly spend it. Dangote, Ossai Ovie Success , Elon musk and Mark Zuckerberg won’t waste money like this.
"What is the essence of white wedding in Florida when your lavish traditional marriage is over a year. I am really disappointed."
Israel DMW, others react to aide's criticism

Davido’s sis, Chioma update fans about wedding
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Davido’s sister, Sharon, and the singer's wife, Chioma, shared plans ahead of ChividoMiami2025.
Davido and Chioma were getting set to have their white wedding ceremony in August, and some of the party plans were shared with fans.
Some social media users reacted after Sharon and Chioma updated them about the white wedding.
