More evidence has continued to surface against street pop singer Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, after Aderoju Matthew, aka DJ Splash, made a video to exonerate him.
The singer had been accused by Iyabo Ojo of spiking her son's drink when he visited his house. She claimed that it was DJ Splash who told her that her son's drink was spiked. However, DJ Splash came forward to deny the allegation and shared his side of the story.

Fans uncovered old voice notes that DJ Splash's mother allegedly sent to Gistlover a long time ago.
In the recording, she explained how her son, DJ Splash, became part of the Marlian Records.
According to her, her son met Naira Marley at Zlatan's place and fell in love with his talent because DJ Splash is very skilled.
Naira Marley later came to DJ Splash’s mother, asking for permission to work with him. The woman stated that she told Naira Marley her son wanted to go to school after learning a skill, and Naira Marley allegedly promised to sponsor him.
DJ Splash's mother noted that after her son moved into Naira Marley's house, he stopped calling her, and it became difficult to reach him. She added that she couldn’t go to Lekki as she would not be allowed in without permission.

However, after a long period, DJ Splash called her to say he was okay. He later started demanding money from her. At some point, he began calling her, asking her to come pick him up because he didn’t know what was wrong with him anymore.
DJ Splash returns home to his mother
DJ Splash’s mother continued, saying that after she went to pick him up, they found him on the streets and brought him back home.
They started taking him around for treatment, and at one point, he even attempted to jump into a well. It was then they were informed that he had lost his memory.
The woman confirmed that she tried to reach out to Naira Marley, as her son was singing his name and refusing to take his medication.
Despite her efforts, DJ Splash's mother said she couldn't get in touch with Naira Marley. However, she managed to contact Naira Marley’s mother, who told her that he wasn’t around.
As a widow, DJ Splash’s mother said she was the one running around to take care of her son, and it ruined her business because she couldn’t leave him after he attempted to take his own life.
Recall that VDM had stated that he was trying to vindicate Naira Marley because of what Iyabo Ojo promised and to ensure the truth about Mohbad's death was revealed.

Naira Marley headline local concert
